Product: 2013 ultraslim docking station
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i have HP ELITEBOOK 840 G2,  Windows 8.1, external speakers plugged into the docking station (HP UltraSlim Dock 2013) but music keeps playing in the internal speakers. Please advise. thanks

Similar situation here - HP Elitebook 840 G2 with Windows 7 64bit Enterprise, external Speaker into the Docking station (HP 2013 UltraSlim Dock) and sound still comes from internal speakers.

 

When I plug the 3,5mm Stereo Jack into the Notebooks own plug, the sound correctly changes to the external speakers and internal speakers are muted.

 

Audio on docking station does not work. Thanks for any help!

I got this problem resolved - download the latest Realtek Audio Drivers from HP - after installing everything works on my 840 G2 as expected.
