I am linking you to the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver version 6.10.6425.0 I would recommend that you download and install for your audio issue.

I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer. I am linking an HP Support document below that will show you how to find your product number. As well, if you could indicate which operating system you are using. And whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit as with this and the product number we can provide you with accurate information.

I am having the same issue, but my computer is Windows 8, 64 bit product #E9G87UA#ABA, AMD A6-5200APU w/Radeon(TM)HDGraphics 2.0ghz.  

 

Please help not sure exactly what to do.

Hello,

My laptop has a similar problem.No sound when I place any media. Please direct me to the right IDT installer. My laptop is an HP 655 Notebook, C4X94EA#ACQ (Product Number) running on Windows 8 64 bit.

Hello can someone help me, I'm having a problem with a laptop sound out put.
It gives no sound even when I connect external sneakers but I was able to get sound when I used a blue tooth speaker
My laptop details

Windows 8
Device manager has no warning
sound, video and game controllers has

I have the same problem, I have your explanation also conducted so only the program says that the IDT software package does not get supported by the hardware. I do have windows 8.1 I do not know whether this has something to do with it. if this is what it has to do, you could then give the link
