HP Recommended

I called the number provided and it would cost me $60 to get the problem fixed with remote support.  I find this unacceptable.  We did nothing wrong and Windows update caused the problem.  I'm not paying to fix it.  I have found searching the internet that many people have had this problem.  Seem like a bug.  I need a fix for this please.
