Legion

Hi yall. Bought this laptop earlier this year (2020), some specs below

Line Item:
0000000020

Part Number:
5WS0V17082

Part Description:
1Y Legion Ultimate Support with Onsite

The audio has inconsistently given feedback (a sort of crunchy, fizzling noise) that comes and goes. I initially emailed HP Support and then tried all of the suggestions they gave. My headphones work fine, and the audio is fine if I plug the headphones into a USB port/plug in, so I'm assuming it's the audio jack. Haven't heard back from HP Support about one of my previous emails, wondering if there are any other suggestions. Or can an audio jack be fixed by home, or by someone local? Super frustrating that a new computer's audio is messed up. I don't want to ask HP Support to take my computer right now (because of COVID concerns) but wondering if there's anything more I can do from home since I use my laptop for everything. Thank you
