I am unable to hear videos on the software echo 360. Even on maximum volume, it still does not make it any better. Downloading the video as an mp4 doesn't change anything and neither does converting that mp4 file to a different video format file. My audio works fine for everything else; youtube, mp4 downloads from elsewhere etc but for echo360, whether I run it from the browser or download it, I can't hear a thing even at 100% volume. I have tried restarting the laptop, installing audio drivers, doing diagnostic and audio tests and all of them didn't help. I even factory reset my laptop and it appeared to solve the issue initially, but 3 days later I logged into echo360 again and the issue came back (I had not installed anything or transferred any files onto the laptop in that time frame either). I have tried different browsers and the issue is the same, and I have tried other latptops with the same browser and it works fine on them but not on here. I have also used audio increasing extensions which makes the video just about audible if it's completely quiet (again at 100% volume). So I think the issue is that for some reason the audio is so so quiet I cannot hear it at all. Not sure what is going on or how to fix it and am at a loss after spending ages trying to solve the issue and was wondering if anyone else can help

Please download and install VLC to play videos, it will play nearly all video formats.. Sounds like the Echo360 software is having a problem itself.
Regards.

Thank you and I will try that. However I'm not sure if echo360 is the problem as others viewing the same recordings from echo360 are able to hear them well if the volume is turned up despite it being a bit quieter than it should (unlike for me where I cannot hear it even at 100% volume). Also if I use a different laptop, at 100% volume I can hear the recordings from echo360 well, but on this hp laptop I cannot. Which is confusing to me
