Hello again everyone.
The final suggestion that I have is to back up your data and perform an HP Recovery. This takes the notebook back to factory conditions and will resolve software issues almost every time. It is safe to assume that you are experiencing a hardware issue if this does not resolve the issue.
Please remember that this will remove all of your data. So, anything that you'd like to keep should be backed up prior to the recovery. The data will be permanently lost if not backed up.
Here are the instructions for performing the recovery.
Let me know the result and you both have a wonderful day!
Please click the white star under my name to give me Kudos as a way to say "Thanks!"
Click the "Accept as Solution" button if I resolve your issue.

Hi ruhlamin:
Thank you for your inquiry.
I understand you have lost the sound on your speakers.
I am sending you a link to "No Sound from the Speakers or Headphones (Windows 7)" click here.
If you require further assistance would you please provide the model number of your computer and the operating system you have.
Has there been any recent changes?
I hope this helps.

I have a 620 and the sound does not function: No interal speakers, no headphones...
IT had been upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
I can adjust the sound properties via the device mgr, but there is not even system sounds indicating the change in volume level...

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial product. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .

No Sound from internal speakers on HP 620 Laptop.
My issue occurred following a rebuild.Front headphone works fine, internal speakers do not.
The issue was resolved firstly by uninstalling all audio devices and downloading the latest drivers and reinstalling the devices. There was then an issue flagged regarding enabled enhancements.Configured the enhancements and all is now working again.
Cheers

Good day.
This is for those who have trouble on speakres on HP.
I have a problem that my speakers doesn't work, ut i have sound when I connect headphones. i tried everything, reading on web and traying every solution but nothing happens.
Finaly i just blow in headphones connector and use tootpick to clean inside of connector.
Inside of connector there is litlle relay. When headphones are connectet that relay turning off speakers and switching sound to headphones. So, if there is dust that relay can stay in closed mode and sound can't "go" to speakers.
So, I hope that this methot will help for your problem! 🙂
I'm sorry if may gramm was not verry vell. :):)

After trying all suggestions like bios upgrade, factory reset, recovery etc I finally got around to try the method suggested by Tihomir1, and would you believe - it worked! Thanks a lot for that simple but miraculous tip.
