Hi @Abdul_,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for contacting us about your OMEN by HP 16-wd000 gaming laptop. We’re sorry to hear that OMEN Audio Control or advanced audio settings aren’t available. Let's walk through what might be missing and how to restore or improve your audio settings.
1. Install/Update HP Audio Control Software (if missing)
- Go to the HP Drivers page for your model:
🔗 OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd0000 Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support - Under Audio, look for:
- Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver
- HP Audio Control / Bang & Olufsen Control Panel (if available)
- Install both, then restart your system.
2. Install OMEN Gaming Hub (for system-wide tuning)
- Available from Microsoft Store or HP Support:
🔗 OMEN Gaming Hub | HP® Official Site - Inside the OMEN Gaming Hub, check if there’s an Audio section or Performance Tuning that can apply sound profiles.
3. Use Windows Sound Enhancements (Workaround)
If OMEN or B&O control panels are missing:
- Go to Settings > System > Sound > Advanced > More sound settings
- Under Playback, right-click your default audio device → Properties > Enhancements
- Enable:
- Loudness Equalization
- Bass Boost
- Virtual Surround
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
