Hey, sorry im getting back to you a few days later.  So i download the folder and tried to update the AMD Audio CoProcessor, but when i went to install it, it says the best devices are already installed. But in the Update Driver section, i saw where there was a 2. something version from 2020 and installed that one, but would probably be better off with the updated one lol.  Is there a workaround to install that other one?

I'm a bit confused - it's about "a 2. something version" to install.

Well what i did was, i installed the older version  and then updated it successfully with the one you told me to get and so far, so good!

Ok all right. If the noise doesn't come back in the next few days, everything has worked. Then get in touch again.

Thank you so much for your help!  Hopefully it will just keep working and not automatically go back to the previous version or something like that.

The driver for the AMD Audio CoProcessor is normally updated when the driver for the graphics card is updated. You can then use the roll back driver function in the device manager.
A few years ago, after an update of the AMD Audio CoProcessor, which came automatically via Windows Update, the sound was completely gone. An update of the audio driver was then necessary.
