Hello all,
When ever I plug my earphones into my HP laptop i get this error message:
If I view it in the Microsoft Store it directs me to this app:
I have tried reinstalling it but it doesnt work.
If I want to use my earphones properly I have to plug it in twice, and hit the close button on the error message 4 times.
This is really starting to annoy me, could anyone help me with this issue?
Greetings,
Marc

Hi@MarcVIC, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you have audio issues with your laptop.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes to your laptop?
Does the issue persist when you connect a headphone to your PC?
As you mentioned you have issues playing audio from your laptop.
Let's start off by updating the Bios, Chipset, and graphics card drivers on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.
Windows is Update,
Try the steps recommended below.
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
Option 2: Update the audio driver in Device Manager
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Sound video and game controllers.
- Right-click on Realtek Audio Device.
- Select Update Driver Software.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the driver.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
Have a great day!
