Hi @Rwk5605,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • The exact model of your HP device ?
  • The version of Windows you’re currently running.
  • Whether the equalizer options disappeared immediately after the update, or if they were missing even after reinstalling the app.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Audio Drivers
    • Open Device Manager → expand Sound, video and game controllers.
    • Right-click your audio device (often “Realtek” or “Intel Smart Sound”) → select Update driver.
    • If already updated, try Uninstall device and restart—Windows will reinstall the driver automatically.
  2. Reinstall B&O Audio Control
    • Uninstall the current B&O Sound Controller app.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Download and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.
  3. HP Support Assistant
    • Run HP Support Assistant to check for any pending audio-related updates specific to your device.
  4. Windows Sound Settings
  • Right-click the speaker icon → Sound settings.
  • Under Advanced sound options, check if enhancements or equalizer settings are available there.

I hope this helps.
