B&O app sliders will not work and are greyed out when I plug in headphones

HP x360 310 G2 PC

I have seen a post from a few years ago with this same problem and have been wondering since then if a solution has appeared. 

Whenever I plug in headphones the audio is really quiet, especially the vocals.

I have found the B&O app. Which appears with this screen.

I am wondering if there is currently a fix to this. Any help would be appreciated.

It works with B&O hardware. Is your headphones from B&O ? If not, the chance is it won't work.
