got driver from HP support about Realtek Audio sound
B&O sound decrease continuously to mute when playback
test#1 with youtube playback, quality 24bit 48000 ; sound out in first 3 seconds, then automatically continuously decreased to no sound
reaction from user:
using mouse seeking in playback bar, somehow sound out BUT in a sudden, it was no sound
finding self solution; yet using find and fix problems via control panel; try to lower sound quality back to 16bit 44100, then sound out BUT automatically continuously decreased to no sound
test#2 with video clip playback, quality 24bit 48000 ; sound out in first 3 seconds, then automatically continuously decreased to no sound
reaction from user:
using mouse seeking in playback bar, somehow sound out BUT in a sudden, it was no sound
finding self solution; yet using find and fix problems via control panel; try to lower sound quality back to 16bit 44100, then sound out BUT automatically continuously decreased to no sound
test#3 with youtube playback, quality 16bit 44100 ; try to discover in B&O software, disable stream multi source and B&O experience witht equalizer; then try playback again : no sound
reaction from user:
recheck if the latest sound driver in devie manager, got the latest in both Realtek and Sound and Audio tree
try to uninstall the latest previous driver, then let it discover another driver itself via internet connection;
scan for hardware changes -- found sound driver back, then test with vido clip and youtube : got sound out
test#4 reinstall Realtek audio driver from HP again, got B&O software and other function like stereo Mix, BUT got same problem
Question: which sound driver I can use instead of B&O if I want it sounds live like Realtek software in HP 14-am002tu
..
....
......
I read about how B&O got worse in many forums even in here, then I realize that I expected a better spec but had to sacrifice a kind of issue like this in return. It wasn't normal, was it?

@rukturna34, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.
I understand that you are facing issues with the sound quality and also there is no sound in playback mode.
Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.
This issue has occurred because there are no sound drivers for Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit).
Hence, I request you upgrade or roll back the drivers to Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) using HP Recovery CD/discs that came with the computer.
Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

@rukturna34, thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you do not have the software cd for Windows 10 64 bit.
Don't worry, you can download the sound drivers from the HP support website.
Please follow the link: Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
Let me know if this works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

I have a new spectre x360 laptop facing the same problem.
Plug in headphones and remove them fixes the problem temporarily.
After a call with a hp suppot guy he ran the above Clear0.exe ( he put it on my cmoputer ) and problem was fixed. HE explained it is some calibration problem on some laptops.
