I purchased this laptop recently and it came preinstalled with B&o (Bang & Olufsen) equalizer...
2 days back I recived a notification for upgrading to windows 10..
After doing the same I was adviced by HP support assistant to update the audio drivers( RealtekHD last updated on September 11)..
After installing it I was asked to restart the computer...
After the restart B&o equalizer is missing from both the system tray as well as controlpanel...
There are no issues with sound output as such...
I have checked the HP website for the B&o software under my product... But couldn't find it..
Kindly guide the method to get B&o Equaliser installed...
Thanking you

Hi @Rkg1,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion 15-ab030tx Notebook and issues with the Bang & Olufsen audio panel missing. Here is a link that will help you troubleshoot the sound.
Here is a link to update the Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver for Windows 10. Restart the Notebook after you have done this so the changed can take effect.
Here is a link to update the software from Bang & Olufsen.
Please let me know how this goes.
Thanks.

I also have a simolar problem. I bought my HP Envy 1080p during my vacation in US sept 2015 which comes with B & O but i upgraded my windows 10 and lost the application in the process.
B&O was one of the few features that attracted me to the Laptop.
Please what can I do to have it back ?
Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Envy laptop and after you upgraded the operating system to Windows 10, the Bang & Olufsen application is missing.
To help you further, I would like to know the exact model no. of your HP Envy series laptop. This link will help you to locate the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l. With the help of the model no. I can check and let you know if the B&O application is available for installation for Win10. You could also check for the drivers/application available through this website: www.hp.com/drivers.
I will wait for your response. Cheers! 🙂
