HP 655 (B6N21EA#ACB)
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Good afternoon, there is an HP 655 laptop, running on Windows 7 x64, the BIOS version was F04, updated to extreme F29, there was such a problem: after turning off the computer, the sound disappears and there is S/PDIF in the volume control, the speakers show that they are not connected, this problem can be solved by rolling back to the BIOS version F23, who"Is there one?" This problem causes a lot of inconvenience, options for reinstalling the system are unlikely to help, I have tried all possible versions of the Realtek driver - it does not help. Please help me. The problem affects many users with this laptop on the F29 BIOS version, so maybe you can release a fix ? If you restart immediately after turning on the laptop, the sound will appear and work until you turn it off. This issue has been reported multiple times, for example, https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/HP-655-Notebook-Sound-issues/td-p/9367787

Hi:

You can find all of the previous BIOS updates by clicking to expand the Previous Version section on the latest BIOS update.

After doing that, you will be able to get F.23.

I have posted the direct link to F.23 for your convenience:

I managed to pump out F23 and roll back, and now everything is fine. It turns out that there is a history of changes, and I want to thank everyone.
