Product: HP ENVY 17-j141na Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy Laptop that came with Beats audio installed. I have  recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and the Beats audio did not install with the upgrade to Windows 10.  Can anyone help with restoring Beats audio to Windows 10.

See if this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook also works on yours.

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

 

On some notebooks this driver will set the PC headphone output as the default playback device, so if you have no audio after installing the driver, you will need to go to the Windows control panel>hardware and sound>sound>manage audio devices and set the PC speakers as the default output.
