HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V9AV)
So it's been 4 days since I bought the laptop, and today I decided to go into Discord without my headphones and realized that my microphone is not working. I ran a test in HP Support Assistant, and it says that my microphone is not connected, even though my version of the laptop has a built-in microphone, because it has a camera (which works by the way). I checked all the drivers, downloaded several versions from the official site, but it probably didn't help. What do you recommend?unnamed.png

I understand that you are facing issues with Microphone on your PC.

 

Can you see it on Input devices under Sound Settings?

 

There are many possible causes of microphone problems, and these basic steps should help resolve the most common ones. Click here for the video URL.

 

If this does not help, then I recommend you run a hardware test on sound and see the results. Click here

Thank you for your reply. I don't want to sound stupid, but I watched the video you posted before posting on the forum. I'm not the kind of person who doesn't try to solve a problem on my own. The program you recommended is already on my system, but I don't see a microphone test here, only a speaker test.
