Hi! @KevinDeRenzy73, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you have issues connecting to Bluetooth speaker.

Please try the steps recommended below.

a.      Press Windows + R, type services.msc and press Enter.
b.      Double-click Bluetooth Support Services.
c.       Set its Startup type to Manual
d.      Click OK.

I would also suggest you try the following steps.

a.     OpenControl Panel by clicking the Windows + X,
b.    In the Control Panel search box, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.
c.     In the Bluetooth Settings dialog box, click the Options tab and do any of the following:
To make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth enabled devices, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.
To allow you to add Bluetooth enabled devices to your computer, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.
To be notified when a Bluetooth enabled device is trying to connect to your computer, select the check box for Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect.
I do not have an "Options tab" nor do I have a checkbox for "allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer"

Let me know if this works!

Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂

This did not help. It was already set to manual and all the other settings you mentioned were already checked. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

The "allow a device to connect" is still greyed out but I was able to get my wireless speaker to connect with the laptop.

Thank you so much for your help!
