The microphone on this Chromebook has never worked.
The permissions are set properly and Bluetooth is off.
I have Power Washed the computer and reset it to factory settings.
I sent it in for HP factory service. They replaced the camera/microphone cable and stated it was repaired and working properly in the service report.
I received the Chromebook back from the repair center, booted it and tried the mic. It still does not work.
Checked the permissions, turned Bluetooth off, restored the system to factory settings and still no mic.
Loaded the latest version of Chrome OS and still no mic.
Rechecked the permissions and still no mic.
What is my next step?
