Hello. I noticed that my notebook is using some kind of compression while playing audio. It appears when playback device is notebook speakers but also when I´m listening headphones. When I set volume level of playback app (spotify) to 30 out of 100 it work normally. Problem is only in built in sound device, because when I use my dedicated audio interface it works perfectly well.

I only want to deactivate all sorts of "audio enhancement" or things such as these.

Thanks for answers.

I really want to know how to solve this too! There's no way to turn off the HP Dynamic Audio presets. I bought a ZBook laptop and this is driving me crazy!

There is option to turn off enhancements, however I don´t have this option.

Same here. I have no such option on my HP Audio Control center...

Already tried. There is option to disable all enhancements, however compression is still there

Yes, I tried looking for any enhancements in every settings menu and disabling them all do nothing. I even tried uninstalling the HP Audio Control software but all it does is leaves your audio quality the same (Luckily you can reinstall it by running the installation for the audio driver as found on HP's website)

I do not use any modded Spotify apps. It is compresing audio all the time. Same for VLC, same for Chrome... I just need to deactivate all audio processing, just like guy did in the link I have sent. However, I dont have this option.
