I have just bought a brand new HP pavilion power 15, whenever I try to listen to music via wired earphone or speaker it produces cracking sound on left side of the eaephone/speaker.
I have tried reinstalling the driver and doing everything mentioned in the community but nothing worked.
Wireless earphone and speakers works nicely but wired one produces crackling noise.
Shall I send my laptop back for replacement? Or it can be fixed 🙂

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Please run an Audio Test from F2 Diagnostic and let me know if you hear the crackling sound
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Audio
Thank you
