Crackling or static sound from speakers even when sound turned off or headphones plugged in

Hi, I have the same problem: hard drive activity is accompanied with crackling and hissing noise coming through speakers even when headphones plugged in.  Did you ever find a solution?

No I did not, in the end I sent it in for repairs and they replaced the motherboard (after gettign the screen replaced half a year erlier ... so now I am having a almost new computer..) Sorry - but it seems it was a hardware problem.
