I had my Nintendo switch propped up on my HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-bp1xx and it dropped and landed on the right side of my keyboard. The laptop instantly restarted and now I have no sound. When I go into sound and look at playback it says no audio devices are installed. When I go into device manager and click show hidden devices, theres a small orange triangle next to Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller. When I open it's properties it says this device cannot start (Code 10). I'm assuming when my switch fell on the laptop it disconnected something. Is there a way to know if something is disconnected. Please help.

Hi @Kevin7816
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Try a hard reset :
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
4) Plug-in the Adapter.
5) Try to turn on the computer.
Let us run a hardware test to check its functionality:
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- Perform Component Test > Audio. Share the result on your next post.
If the test pass, you may run an Extensive test on the PC.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
