I have the same problem as this thread - https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/Sound-volume-goes-up-amp-down/m-p/6033383#M82591 - which was solved, but the link for the driver has an error - http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp76501-77000/sp76608.exe - where else can I get this driver. Hope someone can help

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand your concerns and I would like to help

Please download the Chipset drivers, Audio drivers and the BIOS.

Chipset Driver - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Pavilion-15-Notebook-PC-series/1086215...

Audio Driver - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Pavilion-15-Notebook-PC-series/1086215...

BIOS - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Pavilion-15-Notebook-PC-series/1086215...

If the issue persists, perform a System Restore to an earlier time before the issue started

- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point prior to the issue and then select Next > Finish.

Keep me posted how it goes 👍

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend 😊
