I am trying to connect my Bose Mini SoundLink speaker to my ultrabook via Bluetooth. I have been able to pair them. A window popped up with the title "Bose Mini SoundLink." The bottom half of the window had the header "Audio Services." There is a Connect button on the right next to the message "To use remote device's speaker to listen to Audio from this PC" and "Status: Disconnected"
When I clicked the Connect button, nothing happened.
I also brought up the Sound dialog box on the control panel and tried to connect by right-clicking the speaker. Again, nothing happened.
I tried to do a driver update using Device Manager but I was told I already had the best driver installed. The Driver Version is 6.3.9600.17826 and the Driver Date 6/21/2006.
How do I troubleshoot this?

Greetings @WYY,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are unable to get any audio from your Bluetooth device, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying a lot of troubleshooting steps on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.
Recommend you run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers are updated. Click here to know more about HPSA.
Once all the drivers are updated.
Check if you are able to get audio from your Bluetooth speakers after clicking the connect button under playback devices (right-click on the speaker icon)
Make sure the volume is high on the Bluetooth speaker.
Try different applications.
If the issue persists, refer to this Microsoft post to remove the Bluetooth device and readd it and check.
Also, refer to Microsoft article.
Once you select connect under playback devices, set the device as default and check.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you chimney_83 for your response.
Yes, your understanding is correct that I am not getting any audio from my Bluetooth device, even though my computer has been able to detect it and pair up with it.
My product number is C6N88UA#ABA.
It is taking me time to run HPSA to do the update. Let me get back to you later when I have more time to work on it.
Thanks,
WYY
