I have bought a new laptop a few weeks ago. When I turn it on, it has loud fan noise. The laptop itself does not get hot (it just gets warm), only the fan makes loud noise. I have contacted HP support center via phone call, and they told me to reset (reboot) the laptop Bios and software. But it still has loud noise... Is it regular noise? Or if it is problematic, how can I get replacement to a new laptop?

I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

I have the same issue as HH20.

I have already tried the solutions suggested by HP support.com but to no avail.

I would not expect a new computer to sound as though it is overheating while you are setting it up.

Your assistance would be appreciated.

Thank You
