Hello: thank you for all of your suggestions. At this point I will not take the time for a reinstall of Windows and all of the involvement the reinstall will lead to. If you have other suggestions, please let me know. I will wait a couple of days for your reply then close this Post.
Best regards

Hello @t75drb1
One last try ...
(1) Create Windows system <restore point>
How to Create a System Restore Point on Windows 10 or Windows 11
(2) Start Windows <device manager>
- Right click and uninstall devices with "attempt to remove driver" ticked !
(3) Start HP Support Assistant
- Run "fix audio issue diagnostic"
(4) Please report back

Hi: I was able to remove both devices and the driver through Device Manager although HP Support Assistant with Fix Audio Issues did not add the devices back. Tried the audio test and no Youtube audio through Google Chrome. Used Device Manager Scan for Hardware Changes to add both devices. Still no Youtube audio through Google Chrome.
If you have other suggestions, please let me know. Best regards

Hi: I was able to remove all Audio Inputs and Outputs and all Sound, video and game controllers’ devices plus the drivers through Device Manager. Started HP Support Assistant with Fix Audio Issues and restarted Windows 11. This did not add the devices except for NVIDIA High-Definition Audio. Restarted Windows 11, no Youtube audio through Google Chrome. Tried Device Manager Scan for Hardware Changes to add devices, no devices. Next used Windows 11, Other Troubleshooters, Playing Audio and brought all devices back, except for the NVIDIA Wave Extensible device. Still no Youtube audio through Google Chrome.
If you have other suggestions, please let me know. Best regards

Hello: last night I (2) Enable and run and install <Windows Optional Updates>. There are no Updates to install. Still no Youtube audio through Google Chrome.
Although while using VLC Media Player with an ASUS External Slim DVD-RW drive I was playing a video through the HDMI connection to a VIZIO tv. Up popped a Windows 11 pane asking to set an Audio default, RealTek Audio or NVIDIA High-Definition Audio. I choose RealTek Audio which resulted in loss of HDMI audio. Tried a couple of ideas, still no audio. So I switch PCs to a Lenovo and continued with the video and sound. Will try to recreated the loss audio today and resolve if necessary.
Best regards

Hi: no update in two calendar weeks. Coming to the conclusion that we have tried all possible options, well, except for a Windows 11 reset (reinstall) and a future HP Firmware update. Will leave this Case open another calendar week or two and if no update will close as not resolved. Best regards

Hi: it is time to complete this problem as not resolved. I appreciate HP’s time, effort and many suggestions to work around the no Youtube audio through Google Chrome. I believe the problem was caused by HP Firmware 15.36.0.0 or F36. Hopefully an updated Firmware will resolve this problem. At this point there is nothing more to do and I ask HP to complete this problem as not resolved. Again, the HP effort to resolve this problem was excellent. Best regards
