Hi LeoHon,

 

After looking and looking for the so called "microphone virus" (This is how we call at my company), disabling the sound card from the BIOS, worked for us!, except for one partner that uses a Bluetooth headset.

Now, although I cannot use the laptop speakers (I don't care), we can have meetings using my Jabra and its powerful microphone, and not with the weak one from the laptop.

I fixed this error today by updating the Realtek Software Component Driver. What was odd is it doesn't show up when you run Check for Updates unless you go into "View optional updates" and then look in Driver updates (at least for my setup). I went in and installed Realtek - SoftwareComponent - 12.223.1124.201 and viola! Now my microphone works....
