Hey HP Community,
It sounds like you've already taken several important steps, but if your HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 (13-bf0xxx) still isn't detecting any audio device—even in Device Manager—there may be a deeper driver or BIOS-related issue. First, double-check the BIOS settings to ensure the audio device is enabled. Then, try performing a full Windows update and use HP Support Assistant to scan for any missing drivers, especially for the chipset and audio. If nothing appears in Device Manager under "Sound, video and game controllers," go to "View" > "Show hidden devices" to make sure it's not hidden or disabled. If that fails, you may need to manually install the Realtek or Intel Smart Sound Technology drivers from HP’s official support page for your exact model.
Let us know what you've tried and what shows up—we're here to help!
