I uninstalled the newest Realtek audio driver from device manager because it was corrupted, so as per usual I rebooted my laptop so that windows will automatically install the original audio driver, but for some reason that is not happening.
I downloaded the audio driver from the HP website but when I try to install it (even running it as admin) it says access denied.
Someone, please help.

What is the version of Windows you are using?
Meanwhile, I recommend you download and install the driver from the below link and check if it helps.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110001-110500/sp110359.exe
