Well, the solution is that there is no solution, because I don't want you to lose all your Windows applications, settings and data just because the microphone doesn't work.

 

As workaround please buy external small <USB wired> microphone.

Well, I was hoping for a happy ending.  This same situation happened about 3 years about and I ended up installing chipset drivers but I do not remembers which worked with this OS version.
