Product name : HP ENVY X360
OS- Win 10 (upgraded to win 11)
When I put in my system serial no HP site showing two OS options, win 10 and win 10 1809
Windows is crashing when ever we hear a sound. (Whenever audio driver is getting triggered) There is always a volume bar on left top of the screen. Volume button doesn't work. If clicking on audio driver in device manage, it will get stuck.
Tried clean install of windows 11/10. Updated all drivers. Still same issue. When I uninstall the audio driver, the laptop seems fine. But after some time the audio driver is getting enabled by its own and causing the issue again. Could some one help please?
Thanks,
Aravind

Are you able to boot to Windows? If yes, then I recommend you perform a system restore back to the date when everything was working fine following the steps in the below article.
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03327545
If the computer is not booting to Windows, then follow the below steps to boot to safe mode and then perform a system restore.
Try booting several times until you see a list of three boot options.
Click on Troubleshoot to see advanced options.
Select Advanced options.
Select Startup Settings.
Click on the Restart button.
Select Enable Safe Mode.
If you can log in, you can also use Clean Boot, which starts Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
Open the start menu and type “msconfig.”
Hit enter to open the System Configuration application.
Go to the Services tab and check the Hide all Microsoft services option.
Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager.
Disable all services you see.
Restart your computer.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you so much for your response. I have tried these options as well I am able to boot in to windows. But as soon as audio driver kicked in, causing issue. Will this be a hardware issue with audio parts??
