For years, I have been having issues with the playout of sound from both the bang and olufsen built in speakers and the headphone jack. (thin sounding, crackling, distortion with no audible clarity) I have seen countless number of posts from frustrated userS and HP always providing the exact same troubleshooting process, (bios/drivers/clean uninstall/latest OS/ you name it we've tried it) but every time you get the same response. "I tried your steps and I continue to have the same issue", yet HP does nothing. What I can say is that using a bluetooth speaker does allow me to hear audio from the laptop. As many of us are now working remotely using an insane number of platforms to participate in work related and social get-together video chats, it would make sense that HP would make some effort to address this issue and take responsibility for any recalls that need to be made to stop this headache. Now my computer is out of warranty and still can't hear without having a bluetooth speaker attached to my laptop everywhere I go, Time to step up HP. FIX IT.
