Spectre 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been trying to fix my wife's 2015 Spectre 360 headphone jack for a few weeks now. She participates in a ton of Zoom meetings blasting the sound through her speakers. She wears hearing aids which require a special bluetooth device to connect to her pc.  The device plugs into the headphone jack (there currently is no other bluetooth or usb options). This would be great for our family sanity but, unfortunately, her headphone jack does not work.

I have done extensive online research on this problem. A small percentage of complaints were resolved by updating the audio driver but many seem left unresolved without getting to the heart of the issue.  I have tried every imaginable driver including the original driver. No matter the driver, I can only see the IDT Speakers (in the multiple ways you can set or look at sound settings).

I am convinced this is a driver issue and not hardware. Tpetras  (on 8-14-15) gave me the most relevant clue when he wrote:

"You have a hybrid system. HP is using Realtek drivers on an IDT -Beats audio chipset. This was caused when Apple acquired Beats Audio. Some HP systems manufactured in the interim had ITD hardware but had Realtek drivers available for download at the PC Software and driver download site. New HP systems now have Bang & Olufsen audio."  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/Headphones-Not-Working-After-Windows-1...

I have read elsewhere that there were issues with the Windows updates.

I have a 2014 Spectre with Beatsaudio myself and have no problems with any of the Realtek drivers. Her Spectre 360 did not come with Beatsaudio.

I am looking for someone who has actually participated in resolving this issue. Please don't waste your time to tell me the standard troubleshooting tools and upgrading or rolling back drivers. Trust me, I've done them all. If you know of another kind of sound driver that might work, I'll give them a try. Thanks.

It has been 55+ days with no response so I'm reminding the experts I am still waiting for a potential solution. I sure hope someone pays attention who has a good clue for me.
