Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The headset socket doesn't seem to be working.

I'm plugging a headset that I normally use on mobile phones -- I assume they are compatible.

Btw, the volume button right next to the socket is also not working, in case they are both on the same module.

Do I need a driver? If that's the case how do I check whether it's installed? I'm new to Windows 10.

Please help. Thanks.

Volume can't be controlled from the button next to mic/headphone socket --which by the way not working too.

The volume control on F6 F7 F8 is fine though, working.

Please help

Welcome to the HP support community.

Check if there any physical damage on the button, is it stuck?

When was it last working?

And did you try any steps to fix this issue?

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.
