HP EliteBook 840 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have managed to locate all but the following driver for the HP EliteBook 840 G6 devices we are deploying in our company:

Unknown-Device.jpg

Any clues to what this device could be and where I could find the driver for it?

Thank you in advance.

Hi:

Doing a search of the hardware ID, led me to this discussion...

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X-Series-Laptops/Help-identify-Unknown-Device-in-Device-Manage...

On your notebook,the 'Intel TXT Authenticated Code Module' is apparently installed by this driver...

This package provides the Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) Driver for the supported computer models running a supported operating system.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98001-98500/sp98281.exe

What baffles me is the device is listed in the driver setup information file, but not the hardware ID you posted.

[INTEL.NTamd64]
%ACM_SINIT.DeviceDesc% = Needs_NO_DRV, ACPI\INT_WHL_SINIT

INTEL="INTEL"
ACM_SINIT.DeviceDesc="Intel(R) TXT Authenticated Code Module"
