please verify your PC is Intel based or AMD.

 

If you have Intel PC use the BIOS f.24 from here.

Hey guys, I own a M6-1184CA and I can confirm that this BIOS update has turned off the awful beeps when the battery is low...so Kudos to WaseemW! Thanks!

Hi,
Please let us know product model and BIOS you have tried. Will check and let you know. Can you confirm the current PC BIOS version aswell from msinfo32. Thanks

Guys, I previously thought the problem was fixed because after I installed the Bios update I let the battery drain.. and even underneath 13% it wouldn't do the beep.. Today tought I came back and my computer was beeping again.. this time when down to 8%.... 

 

Again my computer is a M6-1184CA and the issue is not resolved...

I hate to say it, but the beep is back on my ENVY m6-1105dx as well. It just ran down to 12% and began beeping again.  Any thoughts, HP?
