Today I updated my driver Sound Research Corp. Extension-16.27.47.6689. It successful installed but I got a new problem that is audio. I can't hear anything and in Blue

I am currently having same issue for same reason. I have googled and tried everything. I was able to do a recovery once but it installed again before I could block it (Sound Research Corp. - Extension 16.29.71.1962). Im stuck with no audio and thats the main thing I use my laptop for.

from the link ..

if you don't know download the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

The automatic driver update of sound research audio effects 16.29.71.1962 on september 02 ,disabled sound on my laptop. Uninstalling all audio devices, etc. didn't help. My laptop remains "muted". All audio tests from HP support assistant and HP hardware diagnoses passed, but still no sound. What can I do ?

I reinstalled the realtek audio device (via the intel support page) with a driver version 10.0.19041.1 from 6/12/2019.

It works again
