Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
When using BBC Sounds after the audio distorts and is replaced by a periodic hiss on the speakers, even when the volume is muted. Has anyone else experienced this fault, and if so what is the fix, please?

The problem recurs only when I use the BBC Sounds website https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds - their media seems to corrupt the software for the speakers. I will keep off that site in future. All other sounds continue to play well.
