While I am using Skype from the laptop, a person on another side stops hearing me after about 1 min. Skype Support did troubleshhoting and determined that "your device keeps on changing its microphone. Skype is sensitive when it comes on devices and if HP keeps on switching the Microphone."
Note: I did a 5-min test recording from external audio source using internal microphone - it showed no problem.
