I have just purchased this laptop to replace an older HP Pavilion DV7. The problem I am seeing is a low audio output when using the USB Audio Codec. I am using the system for Amateur Radio use. I need the audio codec to supply audio to a software package (WSJT-X) The audio level is below 30db. I require around 60db to drive the program. Is there any way I can increase the audio level?
I have checked in settings and the audio codec is set to 100% but is greyed out so I cant adjust it.
The setup worked perfectly on my previous setup using Windows 10 Pro on the HP DV7. In fact the audio output was set at 65%. I am unsure if this is a hardware issue or Windows 11.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
