Hi @KAPIL99

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

May I know if there was any troubleshooting done to resolve this issue, If not, you can troubleshoot the issue with the following steps:

1. Adjust Sound Settings

On Windows: Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Open Sound settings.

On macOS: Go to System Preferences > Sound.

Ensure the correct output device is selected. If your keyboard has a built-in speaker, make sure it’s set as the output device.

Check that the volume is turned up and not muted. Ensure that the volume mixer settings are correct (Windows) or that the volume levels are appropriate (macOS).

2. Update or Reinstall Audio Drivers

Update Drivers:

On Windows: Go to Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click your audio device and select Update driver.

On macOS: Ensure macOS is up to date, as audio drivers are updated with system updates.

Reinstall Drivers:

On Windows: In Device Manager, right-click the audio device, select Uninstall device, and restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.

3. Test with External Speakers or Headphones

Connect external speakers or headphones to verify if the issue is with the internal speaker or the overall sound system.

Play audio through the external speakers or headphones to ensure they work.

4. Check for Software Issues

On Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Playing Audio and run the troubleshooter.

On macOS: Use the built-in diagnostic tools or third-party software to check for issues.

Ensure that the application you’re using is not muting or overriding the system audio settings.

5. Inspect for Software Conflicts

Ensure no other software or settings are interfering with audio output.

If the issue occurs only with specific applications, update or reinstall them.

6. Hardware Diagnostics

Run Diagnostics:

Some systems have built-in hardware diagnostics. Access these through the BIOS/UEFI or a manufacturer’s diagnostic tool.

I hope this helps.
