Hello,
i've just receive my HP pavillon. And i discovered a problem when i'm using ZOOM. I don't know what's happening with the microphone but i need to scream if i want to be heard by others .. if i'm just talking with one person, it's ok but with 3 or 4 , it's not working, nobody hear me unless i scream. I have an ACER computer and i never had this problem ...
i checked the mic config an put the Ampli Microphone to +30dB ... the problem remains ..
what can i do now ?
help please, i'm using zoom every day and this is a real problem ..

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Step 1: Check the microphone hardware (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
- Step 2: Update the audio driver
- Step 3: Use the Troubleshooting tool
- Step 4: Configure the sound settings in Windows
- Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03421813 to complete the troubleshooting step.

hello, i passed 2 hours with 2 tech, they told me to resend the machine ....
so, i decided to reinstall windows ... and surprise it worked for a while (i even registered a"normal volume sound" with windows recorder, then windows updated drivers and the problem came back, so
i found this on the internet : answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/internal-realtek-microphone-array-not-working-in/4402e...
and i followed the last message :
- Press Windows logo Key + X
- Click on Device manager
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers
- Right click on Realtek High Definition Audio
- Choose Uninstall
- Restart your computer and your problem is solved.
and it worked .... i don't know why ... can you explain me what happened exactly (the drivers seams to be the same)
thanks 🙂

Thank you for posting back.
I am glad to know that you managed to resolve the issue. Please reach out again for any further assistance.
To get the answer to this question, this could be a due to Audio driver conflicts. In near future if you come across same issue, just perform driver roll back instead of uninstalling the Audio driver.
Have a nice day ahead.
