Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP ENVY x360 15 Convertible PCIMPORTANT! This document is intended for...

There is conflicting information, so you will have to open up the PC and see if the memory is upgradable.

Chapter 1 indicates the memory is not removable or upgradable.

Chapter 5 has a procedure to remove and replace the memory.

If the memory is removable, you would be able to install at least 2 x 8 GB of memory.

You can do this to see what the maximum amount of memory you can install if the memory is removable...

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

Yes according to what you posted, it means your notebook can support 2 x 64 GB of memory.

Totally unnecessary, and would cost almost as much as you paid for your notebook.

2 x 16 GB should be more than enough.

Compatible memory...
