My laptop needed an update and a restart. So I did just that. Upon start up, a dialog box pops up saying something couldn;t be executed because there was a problem with the "vcruntime140.dll". It so happens that the speaker sounds different too. The volume has become low and it sounds very muffled & distant, like as though something else is missing. I tried checking the speaker settings and all, but nothing makes a difference. Why are the speakers way off after an update ?

Thank you so much @banhien ! I was going crazy with the sound problem earlier. Now it's finally fixed 🙂 Thanks!
