Hi everyone,
My mute button works fine, but the light indicating mute on/off stopped working.
The issue raised after the lastest update to "creator" version of Windows 10 (from Windows 10); I tried to update the audio drivers but nothing changed.
Following some details:
Spectre x360 13-4129nl,
Product Name V2H29EA#ABZ
Devices listed under Sound, Video & Games:
- Intel Display Audio
- Conexant ISST Audio
Please help me on how to solve this problem.
Thank you.
Grianne

Try the following.
Download the Conexant HD Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80436.exe
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the Conexant device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72025.exe
When the Chipset reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Conexant installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again and let windows fully load for a few minutes before checking.
