Didn't you say you would look for the driver yourself on the HP website that I provided the link to above?
Also check whether audioendpoint.inf is still installed via *Device Manager*. In *Device Manager*, change the view to Drivers by type, then expand the *audio input and output* section.

I don't know the complete model of your PC, but from the information you provided on the amd website, that's all there is. I don't know if there is a sound driver that matches the sound card on your PC.
Maybe you can use 3rd party software too, be it Driverhub, Driverguide, or Ccleaner.

Open Device Manager:
- Press Windows key + X, then select "Device Manager".
- Alternatively, right-click the Start button and select "Device Manager".
- Expand "Sound, video and game controllers".
- Look at the list of audio devices there.
- Note if any of the audio devices have a yellow exclamation mark or other icon indicating a problem. A yellow exclamation mark usually means a driver is missing or problematic.
- (the method above to see the type of sound card on your PC, whether Realtek, Conexant, VIA, and the like)
- Change the view in Device Manager and also expand the *audio inputs and ouputs* category, check if audioendpoint.inf is still there (this is necessary, because you also happened to uninstall the microphone before the software you installed)

Thanks for the follow-up! Yes, I remember you mentioned checking the HP website for the driver—I did take a look but wasn’t quite sure which one was the right fit for my system.
As for audioendpoint.inf, I’ll go ahead and check that in Device Manager as you suggested. I’ll change the view to Drivers by type and look under Audio inputs and outputs to see if it's still there.
Appreciate your help—I'll update you once I’ve checked!
