@Ajjutiwari, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a microphone issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Ensure Teams Integration:
- If you have a Teams model Poly headset, make sure the Microsoft Teams desktop application is installed on your computer. Teams functionality may not work if the application is not installed.
Check Connection:
- Verify that your headset is correctly connected to your computer. For Poly headsets, use the provided Bluetooth USB adapter for the best connection and functionality.
Poly Lens App:
- Download and install the Poly Lens Desktop App if you haven’t already. It allows for customization and configuration of headset settings. You can download it from Poly Lens.
Configuration Settings:
- Ensure that your headset is selected as the microphone device in your Teams settings. Go to Microsoft Teams > Profile Picture > Settings > Devices and select your Poly headset for the microphone input.
Firmware Update:
- Check if your headset has the latest firmware installed using the Poly Lens App to ensure optimal performance.
Audio Settings on the Computer:
- Check your computer’s sound settings to ensure the headset's microphone is selected as the input device. On Windows, go to Start > Control Panel > Sound > Recording and set your Poly headset as the default device.
USB Adapter:
- If issues persist, unplug and replug the Bluetooth USB adapter. Ensure it is properly seated in the port and recognized by the computer.
Sensor Reset:
- If your headset sensors are not responding as expected, you may need to reset them using the Poly Lens App.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
