Windows 11 Version 24HZ installed a week ago. Windows updated earlier this evening. Previously used Bluetooth headphones. Headphones aren't connected. Using google chrome browser. Attempted to play a video on you tube. Uninstalled drivers and restarted laptop. Tried using automatic troubleshooting which wasn't able to help me. Manual troubleshooting assistance seems limited to earlier versions of windows/other products/downloading windows 11. I'm a student so I'll probably ask IT on campus tomorrow.

Hi @RivkieK,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP ENVY x360 Notebook sound is not working correctly.
I have a few recommendations
Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
Check with any headphones if it works fine.
Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
Try doing System Restore if it had worked few days ago.
You can do Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.
