I am currently using Windows 10 IDT Audio Driver
6.10.6492.0 Rev.A

I noticed the audio levels of my notebook slightly reduced when compared to the previous versions of Windows 10.

Sp71886.exe audio was working well with version 1903, but after updating to version 1909, I noticed the sound level to be slightly low. Is there an update to sp71886 which can hear the audio better in version 1909?

The last post which I've made was about a year ago which I got help from @Paul_Tikkanen,

Please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks.

Can you mention the harware device ID number of the IDT High Definition Audio Codec device on your HP laptop?

Visit this site on how to obtain the hardware ID number of a device in Device Manager:

https://www.wikihow.com/Find-Hardware-ID

the latest IDT audio driver made was 6.10.6504.0 but it may not be compatible with your HP 15-j050tx laptop unless I know the hardware ID number of the IDT audio device.

Thank you for your reply.

As requested my IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76E0&SUBSYS_103C1967&REV_1003

Please let me know which latest version would be compatible with my notebook.

Thank you.

ok, here are the following IDT audio drivers to try out on your laptop that are compatible with HWID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76E0&SUBSYS_103C1967&REV_1003"

v6.10.6493.0 - sp65010

v6.10.6495.0 - sp64681

v6.10.6498.0 - sp65008, sp65012 & sp65196

v6499 to v6504 do not support that HWID

hope these help.  good luck!

Thank you for your reply and sorry for my late response.

I tried searching with my Hardware ID in google search and it returned with a couple of search results.

An interesting article popped up,  https://www.driveridentifier.com/scan/download.php/download/1277192310/80869F9498B24527BDDA1BE95EB2F...

From what I analyzed on the above link, it seems:

v6.10.6493.0 - sp65010 (does not support Windows 10)

v6.10.6498.0 - sp65008, sp65012 & sp65196 (does not support Windows 10)

The only version to support Windows 10 is v6.10.6495.0 - sp64681.

Can you verify from the link given above and check whether it is true.

Thank you.
