Hello,
As many others have reported, after a recent Windows Update yesterday, my PC no longer has any audio output installed.
My laptop has B&O Audio Drivers, however, those are missing and attempting to reinstall them using the information given here,
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/B-amp-O-sound-driver-disappeared/td-p/6600709, but to no avail.
Inserting a headset or microphone into my headset jack doesn't have the devices show up under the audio settings. However, inserting an external audio driver into a USB jack, and then attaching a headset has the device show up. A device also shows up if it's connected through an HDMI-port (e.g. a TV).
Help is much appreciated,
Mathias

I've managed to fix this myself (after trying every single solution that the virtual agent provided),
Here's what I did:
- Go to this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
- Identify your PC/Laptop
- Scroll down and open "Driver-Audio"
- Select all of the drivers
- Scroll up and click the big "Download Selected Files"
- Either use the "HP Download & Install Assistant" or manually download the drivers.
- Install all drivers (WITHOUT RESTARTING).
- Restart your PC
Once your PC restarts, it should hopefully be fixed! 🙂
If you get an error when running one of the downloaded installers, try to rename the downloaded file and running it again 😄
I hoped this helped some of you! 🙂
